I’m an old lady today!

I don’t feel old. It is hard to feel old when you have two little kiddies filling up your days. It is hard to feel anything! There is too much to do.

Here are a few things I hope for in the next decade:

  1. I own a house that is big enough to accomodate May for the rest of her life.
  2. I write more about May. (You may be thinking: what is she talking about? More?) Maybe a book?
  3. My family joins with my sister’s family and we all go to Disney World!
  4. I spend one year living in the great state of Michigan near my family. It could happen, you never know…
  5. I finally fit into all my pre-pregnancy jeans. (A girl can dream.)

 

I won’t add a bunch of stuff about May’s achievements. Let’s see how she does and take a bit of the pressure off today. Besides, it’s my list, not her list.

Have a glass of bubbly tonight in my honor and toast in the next decade!

    Dear Stacie,

    A resounding HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I hope that it will be a wonderful one for you. I know that your Dad intends to make it special, and have a glorious time on your trip!! I hope that all your dreams (the ones you blogged about and more) come true. It was wonderful being with you this summer, and I hope that in 2013, we can time our trips so that we can see you. I could definitely see the progress that May has made since last year. It helps to keep things in perspective. Michelle turned 50 in December, so that should make you feel a little younger.
